Victor J. Miller, an esteemed resident of Concord Township, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, at O’Neill Healthcare in Fairview Park. His death marks the end of a life characterized by contributions to business, community service, and cherished family bonds.

Born on June 10, 1942, to the late Victor F. Miller and Mildred (Pearson) Miller, Victor is survived by his three daughters: Gretchen Miller, Hilary (Andrew) Krueger, and Ingrid (Ivor) Nolan. He also leaves behind four grandchildren: Madelyn Krueger, Abigail Krueger, Seamus Nolan, and Brendan Nolan. In addition to his immediate family, he is survived by siblings Nina (James) Alban and Lawrence (Pam) Miller. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Grace, as well as siblings Greg Miller, Mary Miller, Eric Miller (his identical twin), Paul Miller, Carolyne Miller, and Richard Miller.

Career and Community Involvement

Victor Miller was a graduate of St. Ignatius High School, where he remained an active alumni member throughout his life. He attended John Carroll University before stepping into the family business, eventually taking over his father’s industrial brush company. He founded The Mill-Rose Company and was instrumental in its growth, expanding it to include Mill-Rose Laboratories. His leadership extended beyond his business as he served as President of the American Brush Manufacturing Association and the Lake County chapter of United Way. Additionally, he presided over the Painesville chapter of Gyro International.

Personal Interests

Passionate about golf, Victor enjoyed playing at some of the world’s most prestigious courses and participated in charity tournaments where he had the chance to meet famous golfers. In addition to golf, he was a gourmet chef known for his ability to cook delicious weeknight dinners and exquisite meals for holidays and special occasions. During the winter months, he spent time in Rancho Mirage, California, but looked forward to returning to Ohio to connect with friends at Hellriegel’s Inn patio.

Victor was remembered fondly for his sense of humor and wry wit, which endeared him to many in his personal and professional circles.

Funeral Arrangements

A private interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery. A celebration of life in honor of Victor Miller is planned for a later date, providing friends and family the opportunity to gather and remember him. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Eric Miller Scholarship at St. Ignatius High School. These contributions can be sent to the St. Ignatius Advancement office located at 1911 W. 30th Street, Cleveland, OH 44113.

The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home and Cremation Center located in Mentor, Ohio.
