The construction process for The Collins took seven years to complete, nearly stalling during the COVID-19 pandemic but ultimately resuming in early 2022. Once construction started at the end of 2022, it progressed for a duration of 24 months.
Prior to its development, the site required remediation due to its history as a brownfield. Funding from Ohio’s brownfield program allowed for the essential groundwork to take place. The property was previously prepared by J Roc Development before it was sold to NRP for the apartment complex’s construction.
In addition to The Collins, another project, Triton at The Flats, is currently under construction nearby.
