Air Canada will utilize aircraft with a capacity to carry 76 passengers for this route. The addition of the Montreal flight marks Air Canada’s second direct service from Cleveland, supplementing the existing route to Toronto. With this launch, travelers from Cleveland will have access to a total of five international flight routes, which currently also include destinations such as Dublin, Ireland; Cancun, Mexico; and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

This new direct service to Montreal represents the first time in over a decade that there has been nonstop connectivity between Cleveland and this vibrant Canadian city. Previously, United Airlines operated this route, but it has since been unavailable.

In addition to Cleveland’s new offering, Air Canada is also launching a daily flight from Columbus to Montreal. The Columbus flight will depart at 2:40 p.m. and arrive in Montreal at 4:22 p.m.. The return trip will leave Montreal at 4:40 p.m. and reach John Glenn Columbus International Airport by 6:39 p.m..
