The Grand Ho Tram resort is set to expand with new luxury facilities.
The Grand Ho Tram, Vietnam’s premier luxury integrated resort, is set to expand with a $1 billion investment. Spanning 35 hectares, the expansion aims to enhance guest capacity and improve facilities, including new hotels, luxury villas, and a convention center. This development aligns with Vietnam’s tourism goals to attract 100 million international visitors annually, coinciding with the upcoming Long Thanh International Airport, set to boost accessibility and tourism flow.
Ho Tram, Vietnam – The Grand Ho Tram, Vietnam’s first large-scale luxury integrated resort, is set to undergo a significant expansion with a planned investment of US$1 billion. The expansion, which was announced in May, will cover 35 hectares and is designed to bolster the resort’s offerings, aiming to accommodate up to 18,000 guests daily and support the nation’s target of attracting 100 million international visitors annually.
Currently, The Grand Ho Tram features a range of amenities, including three hotel towers, a casino, world-class golf courses, 19 restaurants and bars, nine swimming pools, and three spas. Establishing itself since its launch in 2013, the resort has gained popularity for hosting a diverse array of events, from combat sports and beauty pageants to corporate retreats and product launches.
The upcoming expansion will introduce several new attractions, including additional five-star hotels, luxury resort villas, a multi-sport and entertainment complex, a wellness and medical spa center, and an international convention and exhibition center. This growth is aligned with the increasing demand for integrated event experiences in Vietnam’s burgeoning tourism sector.
The Grand Ho Tram currently houses the InterContinental Grand Ho Tram, which has 543 rooms, the Holiday Inn Resort Ho Tram Beach with 561 rooms, and Ixora Ho Tram by Fusion, featuring 164 residences and 64 villas. The resort is known for its culinary offerings, boasting 19 dining options that cater to a wide range of tastes, from gourmet to casual Asian cuisine.
For recreation, The Grand Ho Tram provides activities suitable for guests of all ages, including swimming pools, beach access, water sports, a Game Zone, karaoke lounges, and a cinema. Additionally, The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram golf course, designed by Greg Norman, is internationally recognized, ranked 68 on Golf Digest’s World’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses and awarded as Southeast Asia’s Best Golf Course for 2024.
The expansion of The Grand Ho Tram is strategically timed alongside the development of the Long Thanh International Airport, located approximately 50 kilometers away, which is expected to significantly enhance accessibility to the resort and facilitate increased tourism flow into the region.
The Grand Ho Tram’s modern meeting infrastructure comprises a grand ballroom, versatile meeting rooms, and outdoor spaces designed for various events, making it a prime choice for conferences and gatherings. The resort’s focus on blending leisure with culinary experiences and entertainment is reflective of broader trends in the hospitality industry.
As Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism sets ambitious targets to increase tourism’s contribution to up to 17% of the national GDP by 2030, The Grand Ho Tram’s expansion will play a crucial role in solidifying the country’s standing in the Asian integrated resort market.
This expansion not only promises to enhance The Grand Ho Tram’s offerings but also aims to strengthen Vietnam’s appeal as a premier destination for both leisure and business travelers, supporting the growth of the tourism sector in the region.
